Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
The short version: we help you compare quotes on business equipment and services. When you fill in a quote form, your details go to our quote partners and the providers they match you with, so they can contact you with quotes. We use Plausible to count visits without cookies, and the Meta Pixel to measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram advertising. We do not sell your information for money.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to usbusinessprices.com and its landing pages (the "Site"), operated by US Business Prices ("we", "us" or "our"). It explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Information we collect
Information you give through the quote form
The quote forms on the Site are provided and hosted by our third-party quote partners. When you use one, you may provide details such as:
- Your name, business name, email address, phone number and ZIP code
- Your answers about what you need, for example the product or service, quantity or size, whether you want to buy, lease or rent, and your timeframe
This information is collected directly by our quote partner inside its form. See section 4 for how it is shared.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, some information is collected automatically by our hosting provider and the tools described in section 3, such as:
- Your IP address, browser type, device type and operating system
- The pages you view, the website that referred you, and the date and time of your visit
- Interactions with the page, such as button clicks and whether you completed the quote form
- Cookie and pixel identifiers set by the Meta Pixel
3. Cookies, pixels and tracking tools we use
We use the following third-party tools on the Site:
| Tool | Provider | What it does | Cookies? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Meta Pixel | Meta Platforms, Inc. | Records page views and some interactions (such as button clicks) so we can measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform, build ad audiences, and show ads to people who have visited the Site. Meta may combine this data with information it already holds about you and use it for its own purposes under its own policy. | Yes, for example the _fbp cookie, plus any Meta cookies already in your browser |
| Plausible Analytics | Plausible Insights OÜ | Counts visits, page views, referring sites, browser, device type and country, so we can understand how the Site is used. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not store your IP address; we only see aggregated statistics. | No |
| Quote forms | Our third-party quote partners | Runs the quote form, collects the details you enter, matches you with providers, and records events such as when the form is loaded and completed. It tells our page when a request is completed so we can show you a confirmation page. | May set its own cookies or similar technologies under its own policy |
Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the Site running.
4. How we share information
- Our quote partners and providers. When you submit a quote form, your information is shared with the third-party quote partner that runs that form and with the providers and suppliers in its network so they can contact you about your request. Our partner handles your information under its own privacy policy, and each provider that contacts you is responsible for how it uses your information. Contact us if you would like details of how to reach our partner.
- Advertising and analytics providers. Information collected by the Meta Pixel is shared with Meta for ad measurement and targeting, as described in section 3. Plausible processes visit data on our behalf.
- Service providers. Companies that host or support the Site, acting on our instructions.
- Legal and safety reasons. If required by law, to respond to legal requests, or to protect the rights, safety or property of us, our users or others.
- Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of the Meta Pixel to show you ads based on your activity on the Site may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, or as "targeted advertising" under other state privacy laws. Section 7 explains how to opt out.
5. How we use information
- To connect you with providers who can give you the quotes you asked for
- To show you a confirmation page after you submit a request
- To measure and improve the Site and our advertising
- To show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram
- To protect the Site against fraud, abuse and security threats
- To comply with our legal obligations
6. Phone calls, text messages and emails
When you submit a quote request, you agree to be contacted about it by our quote partner and the providers in its network, as described in the consent language shown in the form. They may contact you by phone, text message or email using the details you provide. You can ask any company that contacts you to stop. For text messages, reply STOP to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
7. Your choices and state privacy rights
Opting out of ads and tracking
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. This stops the Meta Pixel from using cookies, though the Site will still work.
- Adjust your ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account, under Accounts Center, Ad preferences.
- Use the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
- Email us at the address in section 12 with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share" to opt out of the sharing or targeted advertising described in section 4.
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. Because there is no common standard for how to respond to them, the Site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one.
Rights for residents of California and other states
Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Virginia, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it
- Get a copy of your personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete your personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and of targeted advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
To make a request, email us at the address in section 12. We will need to verify your identity before responding, and we will reply within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision.
Because the quote forms are run by our quote partners, some requests about the information you submitted in a form may need to be handled by the partner that runs it. Email us and we will pass your request on or tell you how to contact them directly.
Categories of information (California disclosure)
In the last 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information, from you directly and from the tools described in section 3:
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, IP address, cookie and pixel identifiers
- Commercial information: the products you asked for quotes on
- Internet or network activity: pages viewed, referring site and interactions with the Site
- Approximate location: ZIP code, and country or region derived from your IP address
- Professional information: your business name
We collect this information for the purposes in section 5 and share it with the categories of recipients in section 4. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information.
8. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law. Plausible keeps only aggregated statistics. Meta and our quote partners keep information according to their own retention policies.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No website or online transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
The Site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other websites
The Site may link to or embed services run by others, including our quote partners. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
